For the penultimate home game of the season, the ‘sports’ hosted new Vanarama National League South leaders Dartford.
Eastbourne came out with a positive attitude as they tried to put a dent in Dartford’s title bid. And they were in control for large parts of the game. But the visitors have hit the final straight running at full pelt and it showed as they took one of the few chances they had, when Danny Mills dove low with a great header!
In the after-match interview, Borough boss Jamie Howell says they were close to taking something from this game!
